Silly Thriftless Things

Well, a Happy and Prosperous New Year, 2013 to all my blogmates and to those hidden souls who came here from my facebook link. I'm sure most of you are done with your old year. So, everyone who loves me enough to feel like giving me a sweet surprise this year, pay special attention ;)

Staying up till dawn and sleeping till mid noon in hostel, same mess paratha for breakfast that makes you drool, late night philosophical talk with friends, cute chats with your old crushes, getting lost between the movies without giving a damn about the time, random moments spent at Beer Bars. Seriously what’s not to love about vacations outside home?
Not like my life is anything close to dramatic right now, but just saying, you know, it happens sometimes. When the going gets tough, think about all the things that make you happy. I decided to write them down so that I can look back at them when I am low. After all little joy make life worth living.
Right now I am thinking about the year gone by. There is a huge difference between myself in 2012 and 2011. Physically I've become a little bit plump and emotionally a little bit stronger and academically most importantly a lot lot more unfocused than I used to be!!  As I am thinking, there are so many things that are occurring to my mind, some tiny yet special things.
Things that happened to me this year good, bad, not so good or not so bad.

1. Bunking your own classes and get into other lectures like Rancho in 3 idiots (But different concept. Jaha bhi achchi ladki mile bas uss class me baith jao).

2. Spend days with texting people (One amazing achievement)

3. Found a hidden writer in me. (Jokes Apart :P) .

4. No crushes on anyone (I think this is notable :P )

5. Broke my record and slept continuously for 14 hours and more and took laziness to a whole new level.

6. As usual did too much prank being drunk (I must not reveal)

7. Thesis presentation/Viva (The best thing happened to me. And again I was drunk that day :P)

8. FACEBOOK connected me to school buds and college friends but lost the old crushes. (Few of them got married, few are going to get).

9. Have the longest hair on my head this year (I don’t know why I  am writing it. But believe me I can't tolerate this Tharki Shakti Kapoor Look anymore)

11. Never successful in group chat (I tried this last year only but didn’t happen, this is also amazing)

12. First time my taste buds experienced Champagne. (Nobody can rectify me)

13. The best birthday gift (Amazing gift, thanks).

14. No unknown online friends this year (Noting important).

15. Had the worst nightmare (Saw a friend jump of a building, still didn’t tell her about it, still remember her blood drenched crumpled body, then again that was just a nightmare)

16. Experienced an International Conference for the first time (Extravagant).

And so on. Just because of drunk these are those few things that are coming to mind right now.

P.S: Skipped No 10. Couldn’t write it for some reason.

Overall, it was really fun year for me. Hope a lot more excitement coming on my way. Life didn't come for free- we pay for it by living it. Wishes are never meant to be completely fulfilled and that’s the real fun. That’s why we all wait and live. Thanks '12.
